With all the talk "AI replacing software developers" maybe recruiting for software developers doesn't require any expertise because "they'll just use ChatGPT like me" thinks the novice recruiter. Or the thinking might be "How would this person do at our company Christmas party? I don't want to be responsible for hiring someone that's no fun there". I honestly don't know what's going on in recruiting, but I do see a lot of developers out of work. I've used AI APIs in code and it's like working with wild horses. Is anyone interviewing them?
