Our local transit system is free to ride all over Chelan county in Washington state. They use BYD electric busses for most routes. Its amazing to be able to take a bus to the local hiking and skiing places for free. Probably will stop being free if tarriffs are put on them, but the US doesn't make an alternative. We should be looking at developing manufacturing and improving quality instead of building nuclear reactors. Our history with nuclear reactors is not great.
