I've been voting for almost 50 years. I care about injustice and people, but I really don't care about politics and all the media around it. I appreciate an organized democracy that is not ruled by royalty, religion or wealthy donors. I feel there is so much more to this world than politics and I don't want to spend too much on it. If democracy is about the vote and my choice doesn't win, I have to accept it. The one thing I wish we could do is better educate the American population about how business works. I feel like many people don't know that they're getting the short end of the stick because they don't understand how tarrifs work and how to get a good paying job in the US. You don't have to be a genius to learn these things. I wish media could be more of an educator than an analyst. Thank you for your thoughtful blog post.
