I like your point on turning the focus on skill based education. Whether it's reading, writing, programming, building construction , or pipe fitting, we need to raise the learning, earning and respect for those who have learned valuable skills. There are way too many managers and marketers with solid degrees but little to make the country stronger and living conditions better. Let the skilled teach the unskilled. We should come up with new, less expensive ways to certify the attainment of skills.
