I can remember the manager of an open position contacting me directly within in days of submitting a resume. Now you heare nothing until you get the super cheerful (must be AI) email letting you know what 'great experience and enthusiasm you have, but not fit for this role'. I guess they went for the somber, less experienced candidate.
